Goal: Development of a low-cost weather station allowing to transmit information by SMS. The connection to the station is made by Bluetooth LE or USB. This project comes within the context of the iMoMo project. Thus it needs to stay an open innovation in order to give to anybody the opportunity to be a weather data supplier for iMoMo.
Result: The station send SMS messages at regular programmable interval. The BLE connection can be used on a smartphone with a specific application which allows to visualize information transmitted by the station. It is also possible to configure the different parameters through the USB connection.
